Ni Hao China!

The news is finally in. Come June, I should be sitting in an office in Beijing, beginning what is definitely going to be one of the most exciting years of my life. I'll be moving to another country and beginning a journey out into the wilderness of our world. I've spent the last four years of my life living away from home, so the sensation of being away from familiarity won't be new to me, then again, I spoke the local language, i grew up on the food, and i definitely knew when I was being ripped off. Come june, I'm going to in a completely different world and at some level, it's scary!

I'm headed to Delhi to spend some time with my family before I leave. And somewhere in the middle is a week in Bangladesh where I'll be attending a conference - but more on that later. I get the feeling that China won't be the end of my travels, that there will be many more to come - very soon!

Here's looking at what's going to be a one heck of an adventure. Travelling, observing, eating, dreaming and learning. Am i ready for it? I'll never know until i'm through with everthing and look back at what i've been able to do with it all - many years from now! One thing is for sure - the ride's going to be a lot of fun!
